3 MUSIQUE DŽAMEUBLEMENT |
Pictured Music Compositions by Erik Satie (1865-1925)
| This Pictured Music combines gesturesque
and picturesque elements with music and texts from Erik
Satie. This project shall be undertaken on the 1.7.2000,
the 75th Anniversary of the composerŽs death, with the
BRUCK-ROSS DUO and two actors/actresses. An accurate
description of this project to follow. The realization of this piece for the stage is limited to the technical possibilities: lifts, curtains, iron curtain, movable stage, rising/falling pit, movanle portals, fog-machine, pyrotechnic, lighting etc. The choreography of these technical means creates a poetic-mechanical ballet to the MUSIQUE DŽAMEUBLEMENT by Erik Satie. The team of stage technicians becomes equal partner to the musical performers WILHELM BRUCK and THEODOR ROSS. |
